“As a representative, am I just doing the helping, and the job is done?”

In some circles, the position of the representative is regarded as 'being a helper to solve the problem of the 'client'.
Facilitating a constellation needs a constant, focused, and wide-open awareness.
Still, I will never call it work, as a job-to-be-done.
Being in Respectful Coherence with a Knowing Field is something entirely different.
It is, as I experience it, far more rewarding.
Representatives are, without a doubt, an important part of a constellation setup. But forget about 'helping, about assisting' in finding a solution. This may be a surprising point of view, but … there is a greater benefit than just the gratitude from others.
Being representative in multiple constellations during one day feels like growing into a state of active meditation. There is no pressure to be a representative. Representatives have all the time to observe and to be a silent witness to so many sensory levels being active at the same time! All representatives experience various primary and secondary feelings, and don't have to act upon them other than to follow the movement that their body-mind shows.
“Already during the very first systemic constellations, as a representative, it became clear that, following my body-mind's movements without opinion, I came much deeper in touch with all the emotions in my body! I follow the impulses my body-mind senses. I move slowly so as not to disrupt the atmosphere. It is like a meditative experience in the awareness of a wider knowledge, a Knowing Field. The best help I can give is 'not to help with interpretation and opinion' but express the response of my body-mind. Hidden dynamics can surface spontaneously, because there is no brain full of thoughts and interpretations hovering over the unfolding movement. It all works out in Respectful Coherence, mostly in silence. While the expressions may seem strange, simply following them leads to an increasing awareness, the Knowing Field, a perspective wider and deeper than my brain can reach. Yet exactly that opens me up, feeds my intuition, my creativity.”
Try to see a constellation as an hour with a high experiential density, with so much more intention surfacing as what one can perceive through the five senses during an hour of 'normal' life. It is this density to which we respond on a deep level. Often, representatives report later on that the representations have worked as a constellation, but without a request. This is the benefit of being a representative in consecutive constellations.
The whole group is 'in the constellation'; the client, the representatives, the observers, and the facilitator. Yes, even the observers are part of the constellation! Every participant will notice how one’s own bodymind responds to every new constellation.
As long as one knows what one asks
Explores where the question comes from
Explores the context where the answer lands
The question is the door to an unfolding perspective
The answer exists in a knowing field
The answer floats until it is expressed
