Relaxing the brain … The brain? Yes, the physical brain.

When should one apply an anatomical biomechanical approach, and when is a meditative approach more suitable? How does one transition from a biomechanic to a biodynamic to a fluid approach? These questions are addressed in the first part of Cranio for the Cranium (1), aimed at calming the brain.
Concepts such as 'doing', 'helping', 'supporting', 'facilitating', and 'mediating' were explored to prepare for a deeper state of relaxation. As the unwinding process brought more calmness, it opened the door to a new understanding of relaxation—a fluid, meditative relaxation where the practitioner aids the receiver's Self Healing to calm the brain and connect the relaxed fluidity of the brain with the relaxed fluidity of the heart and the immune system … There is only one touch - The Oldest Touch.
PureCranio for the Cranium began with a 'refresher' for experienced practitioners and an introduction for beginners. For the Unwinding we used basic hand positions and releases along with a standard protocol from the biomechanic approach. Instead of focusing on partial release for each suture, we worked through all positions with the intention to calm the brain. A systemic constellation enriched our journey with unexpected insights about mental freedom and limitations.
